| ORBS
OF LIGHT
'Prana'
is a sanskrit word refering to the lifeforce that flows through all
of us, similar to the Chinese 'Chi' and even the Christian 'Holy Spirit'.
Our bodies contain... are formed by... many energy centers, and interacting
'fields' of prana.
Many Cultures
have worked with our energetics, mediated by orbs of light. Some of
them correspond, as the Chinese 'Dan Tien' map directly to the Navel,
Heart and Third Eye. Others are more rare... The Mayan Koak-al include
the Pelvis and highlight the Forehead... and The Hebrew Sefirot include
(2) on either side of the upper chest.
The set
of centers used in the WildFlower Fire system originate in Egypt. They
include all the above centers... and several that are rarely found anywhere
else. This 'set' maps directly with the notes of the 'chromatic' scale
used in western music - the entire set of black and white 'keys' on
the piano.
Just as
Jazz musicians may use a 'blue note' or note between the notes, there
are many more frequencies between, and around, these 12. However the
mathematics of wave structure draw us back to this number repeatedly.
It takes 'thirteen steps' to start wave patterns over, from 'C' to a
higher 'C'. The thirteenth note, the next C note, has a wavelength twice
as long as the initial C... and the pattern rebegins.
Similiarly, the Thirteenth chakra actually can first be felt above
the crown... and resonates in a double harmony with the root... twice
its length.
The Yogis often meditated on a Lotus Flower resting above the crown...
imagining the Kundalini energy releasing, and a prana flow up the spine,
out the crown... consciousness embodied beyond the body.
